Challenge
How can Uber get away from its legacy practice of selling gift cards in brick-and-mortar stores or through an expensive white-labeled service?
Solution
Build a new zero-to-one native app experience that's delightful, customizable, but most importantly, quick and easy to use.
Outcome
The advent of COVID-19 disrupted this project and the team was largely dissolved. Despite this, elements of this initial work live on today in the Uber app.
